It went exactly as planned.  Sure, we weren't confident the plan would work, but we had hope.  And enough hope, love, and good wishes, combined with better players, coaches, and a completely overrated opponent, led to the amazing outcome.

So here it is.  This is the day that the Gators have made.  Let us rejoice and be glad.

 

 In this inperfect system, this is as close as we can get to the perfect game.  The winners of the SEC, the best conference in all the land, will face the overrateed and overhyped "champions" of a league with no championship game and no real teams to speak of.  True, their stats are better, but even I could win the heisman playing against pop warner teams all year.  And I heard Jim Tressel is a homo.  It's a proven fact.

 

So now, as we head on to the stadium, we think fondly of all of the other teams that have ever even played for a national championship in both football and basketball in the same year.  Oh, wait.  There was only one team, Ohio State.  And they lost in the bball championship.  We're breaking ground here.

 

Tonight the hammer will fall.  The smack will be laid.  A can of wupass will be set down, opened up, and sprayed wildly with reckless abandon on any and all who get near it.  Cliche's will be cliched.  Good luck, and God Bless the Gators.  And God, please punish the superbius Buckeyes.
